UITP, GIE Objectif transport public, GART and UTP signed a memorandum of understanding to establish closer ties between key players in the world of transports in Europe. On June 11-12, 2014 an international conference with a political dimension will be held at the European Mobility Exhibition.
Transports Publics is a showcase of the most innovative products, services and policies relating to sustainable mobility, bringing together all the key players from across Europe and from every aspect of every mode of transport: organising authorities, operators, industries, manufacturers, sub-contractors and others.

Once again in June 2012, the Exhibition has been the occasion for a number of special events, as well as beneficial meetings between stakeholders from throughout the world of sustainable mobility.
Especially noteworthy visitors included Nicole Bricq, the Minister for the Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy; Frédéric Cuvillier, Deputy Minister for Transport and Maritime Affairs; and Laurence Parisot, Chair of the French bosses’ union MEDEF.
With some fifty vehicles on show and premieres of innovations sparking considerable interest, nine debates on key issues across Europe, 25 talks at the Experts’ Forum, guests of honour Transports publics genevois alongside the City of Turin with GTT, the Public Transport Innovation Awards, the Talent in Mobility Awards, the Golden Bus Award, the First Job Forum and more, the event was a resounding success for the sector as a whole.
