Exhibiting tomorrow's transport |
| |
"All the indicators are pointing the same way: public transport is set to grow significantly in the coming years. It
provides a better alternative to a car-only culture in environmental, economic and social terms. Building on the success of the June 2006 edition, Transports
Publics 2008 will be a meeting-point for professionals from across the industry, featuring the most innovative equipment and transport solutions, aimed at
providing increasingly attractive passenger journeys.
Our business is alive and well, serving the general public for the benefit of future generations, and
willing and able to respond to increasing requirements in terms of comfortable, regular, frequent and accessible services, passenger information and more
besides. |
| |
| Showcasing European public transport innovation and attracting increasing numbers of qualified and decision-making
delegates, the Transports Publics exhibition has a clear ambition - ensuring that vehicle manufacturers, sub-contractors, equipment manufacturers, operators,
organising authorities, investors and other trade professionals are the key players in tomorrow's passenger transport solutions." |

Over fifty bus drivers from different networks in France and across Europe will be competing in this challenge, which aims to promote and reward drivers - the visible face of urban public transport operators' service relations. The competition will be taking place in three stages during the exhibition. Entrants, escorts and mystery customers will be gathering for the official awards ceremony on Wednesday June 11 and closing evening event.
