| The 2006 exhibition was a success.
Exhibitor innovations played a major role and the exhibition hosted the first
Public Transport Innovation Awards. The Berlin and Prague networks were guests
of honour in the European Pavilion, along with representatives from Italian
public transport and the European Commission. |

In 2006, the Transport Public Exhibition
welcomed 7 000 professional delegates from across Europe to find out about the
latest trends in public transport and share their experiences. Delegates
were able to increase their business and establish fruitful links. Almost
90% of delegates expressed satisfaction with their visit. |

A wide variety of exhibitors |

As well as the major players in public
transport, the exhibition hosted some 200 exhibitors from all sectors of the
industry. 40% of these exhibitors were from abroad, underlining the
exhibition's international scope. An exhibitor survey conducted after the
exhibition indicated that 3/4 of them were satisfied with the quality of
delegates that visited. |

| European issues, international markets,
intermodality, accessibility, mobility and sustainable development, innovation,
research, quality of service and travel policies were just some of the subjects
of discussion and debate. Professionals spoke at lectures and round tables
addressing the issues facing the industry today. |

| As well as welcoming the major
representatives of the industry, the Transports Publics 2006 exhibition was
honoured by the visit of Jacques Barrot, Vice-Chairman of the European
Commission and Commissioner for Transports, Dominique Perben, French Minister
for Transport, Highways, Tourism and the Sea, Nelly Olin, French Minister for
Ecology and Sustainable Development, and Bertrand Delanoë, mayor of Paris.
