The multi-modal and certified as international exhibition

In an age of sustainable mobility coupled with the internationalisation of the transport market and deregulation, network expansion and purchasing carried out by local authorities and operators both raise major challenges. Transports Publics 2010 will be addressing these needs*:

  • 1 in 3 exhibitors from overseas.
  • Visitors from some 50 nations.
  • An organising committee bringing together the key professionals in Europe.
  • Guests of honour (networks and cities) from across Europe.
  • Overseas delegations including company heads, elected officials with investment responsibilities and politicians.
The exhibition is now certified as an international exhibition (Expo’Stat/OJS certification).

Focus on innovation

The exhibition is a focus for the latest innovations in equipment, techniques and management being implemented all over Europe.
It features the Public Transport Innovation Awards and the Innovation and Research Track, promoting the very best advances in the industry.

Focus on sustainable mobility

Environmental concerns, spiralling energy prices, dwindling oil reserves and urban congestion are all factors highlighting the reality that public transport offers the best solution in both economic and environmental terms and the fact that it is set to grow significantly in years to come.
Transports Publics 2010 is pursuing the aim of promoting public transport and sustainable travel methods by encouraging delegates to share their experience and best practices.

All the latest advances and innovations are
at Transports Publics 2010

Users' expectations of public transport are increasingly stringent - and diverse. Addressing this demand by means of a varied offering whilst providing passengers with the tools they need to organise their journey has therefore become a key challenge. The important thing today is to be innovative, by promoting multimodal solutions featuring complementary offers geared to contemporary lifestyles and the need for sustainable development.
The exhibition is a genuine showcase for tomorrow's transport, with an Innovation Track including some 80 innovations and over 30 vehicles on display, featuring the latest advances in technology, accessibility, facilities, design and more.

Featured innovations include:

  • "Clean" technologies, providing transport which is increasingly environmentally-friendly, quieter and less polluting, improving the quality of the air we breathe. Key advances include hybrid systems, electric motors, energy recovery and storage devices, renewable energies, 'green driving' trainings and more. Some thirty vehicles will be on display.
  • Solutions for developing intermodality: mobility centres, real-time passenger information, all-mode travel cards, ticketing over the internet or by mobile phone, optimising changes during journeys and more.
  • Also featured: 'alternative' or 'green' mode transport; car-sharing and pooling, self-service bikes, boat buses and more - all present at the Exhibition in the Green Mode space.
