Soon Paris-Venice on board a private train

 French Veolia Transdev and Italian Trenitalia have announced the birth of their common railway company, "Thello". It will connect Paris to Venice via Milan on December 11, 2011. This is the first breach in the SNCF's monopoly.

Autolib' electric carsharing system is being tested in Paris |

 Sixty electric Bluecar manufactured by Bolloré and Pininfarina for a self service carsharing system is being tested in Paris since on October 2, 2011. It will be officially launched next December with 250 cars and fully operational by the end of 2012 with 2,000 vehicles.
